Edelman contracted The Illusion Factory to produce interactive infographics for two of their clients: Edwards LifeSciences and Genentech. Edelman is a public relations firm founded and named after Daniel Edelman and currently run by his son Richard Edelman. Edwards designs, manufactures and markets tissue heart valves and related repair products. Genentech produces (amongst other products) Lucentis (ranibizumab) which is made from a human antibody fragment. It works by keeping new blood vessels from forming under the retina (a sensory membrane that lines the inside of the eye).
