Since we started to blog about virtual reality, many of our clients have come to us with this seemingly simple question…. How will virtual reality impact our business, and what can we do to get involved at the ground level? After spending several days brainstorming with a few of them, we decided to build an ever growing website that illuminates the many potential uses of virtual reality across a wide spectrum of industries. This website illustrates a tiny fraction of the myriad of potential mysteries, secrets, discoveries, sensations, treatments, lessons and experiences that await you inside virtual reality.
Discover your company’s future endeavors in Virtual Reality here:
At first look, virtual reality appears to be an immersive extension of gaming. It improves the first person experience by teleporting the player right into the middle of the action. It offers 3D surround sound, haptic devices, interconnectivity, and a host of deep experiences that will teleport a giant chunk of humanity into worlds they have never walked within.
But what about the rest of us? Does virtual reality really hold as large a promise as one may imagine? In the course of our exploration, we started with the following topics:
CUISINE • PASTRIES • FASHION • SCIENCE • EDUCATION • SPORTS TRAINING • TRAVEL • RELAXATION • ENGINEERING • ERGONOMICS • ARCHITECTURE • ASTRONOMY • SPACE EXPLORATION • AERONAUTICS • BUSINESS • ECOMMERCE • CASINOS • GAMING • ENTERTAINMENT • SPORTS BOOK • FANTASY SPORTS • SPORTING GAMES • EMPLOYEE TRAINING • SALES • MARKETING.
The universal discoveries about Virtual Reality are becoming evident as the Wild West World of VR unfolds…. it has a massive potential, a huge audience allure, wide spread opportunity, and the technology will only get better and more improved as core user experiences dictate the directions that this unique paradigm shift will unfold. Virtual Reality is unique because it is the only communication platform, post MTV, that is single focus.
There can be no distraction from second screen stimuli while in a VR experience. When a viewer is fully immersed with great headgear and audio gear, they are transported to another location without opportunity to respond to a text, look at an app, play another game, post another update, take a selfie, etc. VR is immersive and powerful for this reason…. everything else gets shut out and the user narrow focuses on the matter at hand.
For that reason alone, VR is valuable in helping humanity to learn how to narrow focus again, perhaps even changing response to stimuli at the synaptic level.
In the blogs up ahead, we will be looking at each of the industries we have explored in our new website,http://illusionquestvr.com/ for the purposes of projecting our thoughts on how VR will expand in that industry, as well as bringing key stories in from around the world to illustrate our perspective and demonstrate how forward thinking individuals around the world are leveraging this new phenomenon to their greatest advantage.
As Illusion Factory continues to produce VR content in all verticals, we will share our findings, research and perspectives here in this blog. We are about to launch a VR acquisition company with interests in distributing many fields of VR to a massive subscriber base. Please reach out to us for more information.
